We want everyone in our community to be able to use tibetancommunity.ca, including elders and people with disabilities.
What we do
- Aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the standard used by Ontario’s Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act (AODA).
- Large tap targets, readable text and strong colour contrast.
- A text-size button (Aa) on every page and a text-size setting in My board.
- English and Tibetan language options.
- Every form field has a label, and the site works with keyboard and screen readers.
